Jean F. Johnstone

Jean Frances Johnstone was born in Elizabethtown, PA and was the daughter of the late Isaac S. and Edna S. Miller Simons. She was the wife of the late Dr. William W. Johnstone. They had been married for 56 years at the time of his death and had one son, Stephen. They had formerly lived in Petaluma, CA for over 20 years. A 1942 graduate of Wheaton College, where she and William were married, she received her degree in History. They were missionaries in Nigeria in the 1940's and served later in Newfoundland, Tanzania, and Kenya. Jean also taught Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School through the years. She died on June 2, 2011 at age 91 in Lancaster, PA.
