Melvin Loptson, '52, husband of Marian Galbraith Loptson '52, died on Jan 22, 1959, in Amman, Jordan. Mel served at the Beirut Bible College in Beirut, Lebanon, under the Christian and Missionary Alliance Mission. They had been there since 1955. A Jordanian air liner crashed in Amman, with Mel aboard.
