Joan Krieger Sinsabaugh

Joan Annabelle Krieger Sinsabaugh passed away at home in Grand Rapids on Jan. 5, 2014, with her loving daughters on her side. A private memorial in her honor was held that spring. Joan was born in her family's farm house in Bainbridge, being the fifth child of Nelson and Rose Hasse Krieger. She was an accomplished pianist, nurse, devoted Christian and loving mother. Joan attended a one-room schoolhouse in Bainbridge, then graduated from Watervliet High School in 1948. She was a 1952 graduate of West Suburban School of Nursing, affiliated with Wheaton College.
