Lucille Swanson Peterson graduated with a B.A. in Literature in 1931. Nicknamed "Swannee," her scrapbooks contain items detailing aspects of her cross-country travels accompanying various class groups, in addition to visiting famous Chicago locales such as the Art Institute. She served as president of the Boethallian Literary Society. The Rudolph and Lucille Swanson Peterson Memorial Scholarship exists to assist worthy students.
