Roy Snell

Roy J. Snell '06 died on September 21, 1959, in Wheaton. His life was rich with experiences out of which he wrote his more than 75 books for children. He in lived Kentucky, working as a school teacher, in Alaska where he directed Eskimos with their reindeer herds, and was a traveler on the Atlantic, Pacific, and Arctic Oceans. He leaves his wife, a sister and three sons.
