Mina Hager
In 1922 the Philalethean literary society, attempting to jumpstart the building improvement fund, invited renowned Chicago contralto Mina Hager for a December recital. Miss Hager had sung with the Apollo Club and the Symphony Orchestra, and was a teacher in the Cosmopolitan School of Music. She also performed the spring, 1922 Wheaton College commencement to great acclaim. |
