Howard A. Kelly

Dr. Howard Atwood Kelly (1858-1943) was one of the four foundingfaculty members of Johns Hopkins University Medical School. As a physician he established high standards in gynecology and was one ofthe first clinicians to see the medical potential of radium. He wrote 500 articles and published 18 books. Kelly visited Wheaton College for three days in 1936. According to the Tower, he lectured on "personal problems."
