Ladies Advisory Board

At the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees on June 25, 1872, Mrs. Mary A. Blanchard, Mrs. Joseph Gleason, Mrs. Sarah H. Nutting, Mrs. John Calvin Webster and Mrs. H.W. Cobb were constituted a Ladies Advisory Board to cooperate with the Lady Principal and Matron in the management of the Domestic Department. The board, comprising college and community women, dealt with practical matters such as housing, food and rules. The board ceased operation in 1938 as their duties and responsibilities were assumed by college personnel.

Mrs. M.A. Blanchard, Mrs. J.C. Gleason, Mrs. S.H. Nutting, Mrs. J.C. Webster, and Mrs. W.H. Cobb were constituted a Ladies Advisory Board to cooperate with the Ladie's Principal and Matron in the Management of the Domestic Dept.

Elected executive officers with Mrs. J. Geason, Mrs. S.H. Nutting, Mrs. Baker, and Mrs. Walker were chosen Ladies Advisory Board 

1878 

Ladies Advisory Board of prior year was reelected with Mrs. Dr. Hiatt and Mrs. Martin Griswold added Voted to invite the Ladies Advisory Board to sit on the Stage at Commencement 

1879 

Trustees voted that the West wing 4th floor be set apart for young men in case it's not wanted for young ladies. This action is subject to approval by the Ladies Advisory Board. Also Mrs. J. Blanchard, Mrs. F.G. Baker, Mrs. A. H. Hiatt, Mrs. Jos. Gleason, Mrs. S.H. Nutting, and Mrs. M.E. Griswold for Ladies Advisory Board.
