Philalethian Literary Society

Founded in 1893, the Philalethian Literary Society was a women's society whose colors were nile green and white. With a nickname of "Phils" their name meant "Lovers of Truth." Their motto was "From possibility to achievement." This sister society of the Celts was disbanded in 1958.
