Excelsior Literary Society

The Excelsior Literary Society, founded in 1872 out of Beltionians, was a men's society. Known as the "Celts," they were a brother society to the Phils (Philalethian). Lasting until 1959, most literary societies at Wheaton disbanded a year earlier.
