Dorothy Winifred Kellogg Brobeck '36 was a great-great granddaughter of Jonathan Blanchard,she was the third of Thomas and Cora (Kimball BA 1905) Kellogg's fivechildren and her grandparents were Nora (Blanchard BA 1872) and HenryKellogg BA 1870. She and John Brobeck '36 met while students at WheatonCollege. Dr. Brobeck was the first alumnus to be given theDistinguished Service to Society award when the honor was establishedby the Wheaton Alumni Association in 1953. She passed away on November20, 2008 at age 93.
