Anna Wilmarth Kaplan, 93, of Brevard, NC died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2013, from her Ridge Haven home. She was a daughter of the late Bruce Wilmarth, and Bernice Hubbard Wilmarth. In addition to her parents, her beloved husband, Harry Stark Kaplan, and her brothers, Stuart Wilmarth and Paul Wilmarth, preceded her in death. A member of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Brevard, she served during her life in various ways including working with the Red Cross, teaching English in Hialeah, Fla ., serving as director of Christian education at Shenandoah Presbyterian Church in Miami, and serving as president of the South Florida Women of the Church for the PCA. She graduated from Wheaton College in 1941.
