Dorothy Winifred Kellogg Brobeck '36 was a great-great granddaughter of Jonathan Blanchard, she was the third of Thomas and Cora (Kimball BA 1905) Kellogg's fivechildren five children and her grandparents were Nora (Blanchard BA 1872) and HenryKellogg Henry Kellogg BA 1870. She and John Brobeck '36 met while students at WheatonCollegeWheaton College. Dr. Brobeck was the first alumnus to be given theDistinguished the Distinguished Service to Society award when the honor was establishedby established by the Wheaton Alumni Association in 1953. She passed away on November20, 2008 at age 93. |
