This event, a special time for students towelcome alumni back to campus and to entertain them, has continued annuallysince 1923. Begun at the urging of Orland Stockton who had noted that manyschools were "starting to have big weekends on campus for alumni." EdCoray took the idea to the Student Council, of which he was president, and gotthe wheels rolling. Clarence Mason '24 was chairman and other campus leadersfollowed through in the fall. Ed Coray attended all the Homecomings from 1925until his passing in 1993.
