Saint Hall
While Nate Saint was a student at Wheaton this dormitory was known as Unit I and became his home during his freshman year. It was built in 1946, initially as part of The Quadrangle. Saint was an aviator with the martyred missionaries of Ecuador. After his death Unit I was renamed in his honor through an act of the College trustees. In 2006 it was razed to make way for a parking lot. The name was transferred to a set of three apartment buildings on the corner of University and President streets, known as Saint and Elliot Residential Complex. |
