Angeline Brandt

Angeline Brandt was born in 1906 and graduated from Wheaton College in 1927. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in 1943. Dr. Brandt was known as "a supreme salesman for Math" and could be heard saying she'd "rather teach calculus than eat." She was one of the earliest women listed in American Men in Science. Died after brain surgery in 1968.
