Eastgate was a dormitory for women that stood at the east gate of the campus facing College Avenue, near the present-day Jeff Keul Patio (given by the Class of 1997). College Avenue ran from the east to the east gate of Blanchard Hall, while Seminary Avenue ran from the west along the front campus. The two streets met at the east gate.  Seminary and College were later re-routed to flow more smoothly and remove the necessity to intersect at the campus's edge.
